Samsung Electronics Company Ltd has develoepd the SM-308 Combo multiple- function drive. The drive works with various CD and DVD formats. It performs 8x writing on recordable CDs, 4x rewriting on rewrittable CDs, 32x reading on CD-ROMs and 8x r eading on DVD-ROMs. It integrates a 2MB buffer memory and employs the Advanced Technology Attachment Packet Interface supporting Ultra Direct Memory Access modes.

Powernet has developed the ISC-5113 Peripheral Component Interconnect board which is designed for Windows95 and later platforms. The product worrks at 640Kbps upstream and 8Mbps downstream in the discrete multiple tone mode, or 512Kbps upstream and 1.5Mbps downstream in the light mode. It mets PCI v2.2 specifications and supports point-to-point protocol and Ethernet through an Itex modem chip set.

LG Innotek Company Ltd has developed the FSO110A2 surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter with features a nominal center frequency (fo) of 110MHz. The product has insertion losses of 10.0dB maxium, 8.6dB typical. The typical bandwidth at (fo) -5dB covers 1.28MHz. The band-pass ripple is 1.0dB maximum or 0.43dB typical at fo +315kHz. The filter can be used in code division multiple access terminals.
