Tascam CD-RW 700 CD-R/RW drives

Article Abstract:

Teac Corp has released the Tascam CD-RW 700 brand of recordable and rewritable CD recorders. The device, which features 24-bit digital-analog and analog-digital converters, also incorporates the company's CD-R drives. Teac's Tascam CD-RW 700 recorders, which retail for 69,800 yen ($652), also feature functions such as Digital Direct recording, mixed analog and digital recording, fade-in and fade-out and Automatic Track.

Yamaha's MD recorder promises CD-like clarity, big dynamic range

Article Abstract:

Yamaha Corp of Japan has introduced a new MiniDisc (MD) recorder in 1999. The new MDX-793 is said to be capable of the high-performance of the company's CDX-993 compact disc player. The MD recorder a 20-bit digital- to-analog converter and a digital sound processor with a 24-bit sampling rate. Yamaha has also introduced samples of its MDX-E100 combination recorder and player, which features several editing functions.

Tascam CD-RW5000 CD recorders

Article Abstract:

Teac Corp of Japan has introduced a new compact disc (CD) recorder and CD duplicator in 1999. The new Tascam CD-RW5000 recorder can work with recordable and rewritable CD media and comes with a standard remote controller. It sells for $1,371. The CD-D4000 CD duplicator duplicates CD- ROMs and digital audio CDs in recording studios that have CD mastering equipment. It sells for $1,724.
