The marketing strategy of Sound of TriState, a consumer electronics store based in Delaware, is based on event hosting. It created oThunder Jamzo event that has sound off contests and car audio showcases without any direct sales. Increasing attendance to the events has resulted in successful marketing through consumer exposure to products.

The secret to selling extended TV warranties

Article Abstract:

A Consumer Reports survey showed that LCD TVs are highly reliable, but the organization stands by its warning against buying an extended warranty for a flat-panel TV. This poses challenges for retailers and warranty companies, who are responding to the falling TV pricing. Ways to increase warranty sales from retailers are presented.
