A steering robot system that uses advanced motion control, integrated with a GPS positional system, is developed to guide vehicles during testing. The GPS system controls an electric motor that is used to actuate pre-defined patterns in the vehicle's steering system and the robot is used for J-tests, constant radius tests and handling tests on twisty roads.
