Award recipients announced

The 2007 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award was awarded to Mercy Alliance Inc., Sharp Health Care, US Army Armament Research Development and Engineering Center, City of Coral Springs, Florida, and PRO-TEC Coating Co. The awards program, managed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, will undergo changes starting in 2008.

Indian companies lead at Deming Prize ceremony

Article Abstract:

Indian companies Asahi India Glass Ltd., Rane Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. were awarded 2007 Deming Prizes for their commitment to quality. Awards for total quality management and quality innovation were also given out at the ceremonies in Tokyo, Japan.
