Better supply chains with Baldridge

The entire supply chain is sensitive in changing and emerging customer and market requirements and the factors that drive customer satisfaction and retention. Supply chains, like individual companies, can benefit from an effective framework for performance improvements such as the Malcolm Balridge National Quality Award criteria.

Barcodes and radio frequency identification are the most common among the automated data collection systems. A comparison between the benefits of using barcodes and radio frequency identification (RFID) in retail, manufacturing environments and warehouse is presented.
