Cowboy quality: Mikel Harry's riding tall in the saddle as Six Sigma makes its mark

Article Abstract:

Quality for the sake of quality is worthless, according to Mikel Harry, head of the Six Sigma Academy in Scottsdale, AZ. He believes that his Six Sigma Breakthrough Strategy, a system for converting quality improvements into bottom-line gains, is a successful model, and is unwilling to deal with people who do not wish to conform to this model. He feels that the real strength of Six Sigma is its use as a standardized rate of beneficial change in a business operations metric.
