DAQ system records audio, video, and waveform data

Article Abstract:

Astro-Med has unveiled the Dash 18 portable data acquisition system for collecting digital video snapshots, audio and waveform data. The Dash 18 features a high-resolution monitor with touch-screen control and real-time data viewing and analysis. The monitor has split-screen capability for viewing historical data without interrupting real-time acquisition. Standard features include 18 universal input channels; internal hard drive and on-board 250 MB Zip drive; Ethernet interface for command and control; and a compact case.

PG-3000 digital pressure gage

Article Abstract:

PSI-Tronix Technologies Inc has introduced PG-3000, a local pressure indicator for process applications. The vibration- and shock-resistant digital pressure gage, which provides ranges from vacuum to 20,000 psi, is manufactured from a single block of stainless steel. In addition, the pressure gage's NEMA 4/NEMA 7 water-dust- and explosionproof housing allows it to be utilized in hostile environments.

Thermal dispersion flow sensors

Article Abstract:

Scientific Technologies Inc has started offering the TD3800 Series flow sensors. The sensors, which operate largely independent of pipe diameter, are applicable to a variety of flow rates and are suitable for water, oil, air and similar media. Major features of the sensors include single- and dual-point flow monitors, LED status indication, rapid response time and a MIN/MAX monitoring function.
