Waste system provides accurate control of process temperature

Article Abstract:

Protective Closures Co's MokonDiv introduces the Hydrotherm circulating- water temperature control system. This process temperature control system has a 9 KW heating capacity, 3/4 hp motor, 20 gal/min and up to 40 psi pumping capacity, a microprocessor controller and 250 degrees Fahrenheit maximum operating temperature. It is equipped with a hydro-formed pump designed to ensure less thinning of material, resulting in better strength and ensure longer equipment length.

Instrument delivers precise temperature control

Article Abstract:

Yokogawa Corp of America has expanded its series of temperature controllers with the introduction of models, SUPER 2 and SUPER 3. SUPER2 allows a furnace operator to turn the appropriate PID functions on an empty furnace and expect fully-tuned, precise control after the furnace is loaded. Meanwhile, the SUPER3 allows a controller to automomatically accommodate set-point changes and deliver precise control with no need to retune or set up PID zones.

Miniature temperature transmitters

Article Abstract:

Action Instruments has started offering the T280-1000, the T280-2000 and the T280-3000 series of the Model T280 miniature thermal-head transmitter family. The transmitters, which provide 4-20 mA output, can be powered from a 10-40-VDC supply. In addition, the transmitters, which feature a low-profile design measuring 1.17 in diameter by 0.76 in high, are rated for 1,000 VDC or peak AC isolation.
