Fight the Schriesheim uncertainty principle

Article Abstract:

Pres. Bill Clinton and Congress are supporting proposals to reduce federal aid to the private sector's R&D efforts. Although R&D played a crucial role in the country's achievement of superpower status, the trend towards a smaller federal role in industry has downplayed R&D's importance. Individuals involved in R&D should complement their trade associations' largely ineffective lobbying by sending their own letters supporting continued federal aid to R&D to the president, Congress and other concerned agencies.
