Postprocess gages: FAG Corp. puts an in-process gaging system to use that ensures quality wheel bearing fits

Article Abstract:

Integral automated systems can be used in improving the product quality of wheel bearing fits. Such a system can be found in the wheel bearing machines designed by Gilman Engineering and Manufacturing Co. These machines, in turn, are used by FAG Bearings Corp in the manufacture of front wheel bearing assemblies. The usage of an in-process gaging system in wheel bearing gaging is discussed.
