Article Abstract:

An overview is presented on the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment market, or the service industry which arose from the landowner due diligence clause of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act. Assessment standards derived from the practices of the American Society for Testing and Materials are also discussed.
