Plant documentation software suite
Article Abstract:
INOVx has introduced a plant documentation software suite composed of RealityLINx 2.1, CAD LINx 1.0 and KnowledgeLINx. RealityLINx 2.1, a replacement for manual data collection and surveying, enables plant engineers to design, review and manipulate physical databases. CAD LINx 1.0 provides a method to exchange plant as-is data with 3D CAD design systems while KnowledgeLINx permits plant owners to further leverage their visual information assets.

ALGOR has introduced the PipePak software that provides piping design, analysis, visualization and reporting tools. The software, which is suitable for Windows NT/95/98/2000/ME, is touted to be able to help engineers create more reliable piping systems. In addition, the software allows users to add or remove items through standard Windows-based dialogs with copy-and-paste support.
