Modine Manufacturing Co employs the ISO 9000 standards as its basis for its quality system for all its divisions throughout North America and Europe. Modine uses advanced communication technology such as computer networks, teleconferencing, videoconferencing and e-mail to ensure quality in all of its divisions and plants. Such communication technology allowed the company to make sure that quality standards are consistent in all divisions, to use benchmarking between support groups, plants and divisions, and to simultaneously train large groups of employees.

It operates on a quarterly basis under the supervision of state body China State Bureau of Technical Supervision. China has undergone rapid economic growth over the last twenty years. It has failed to produce quality goods due to costs, fraud and non-conformity.
