Impact absorption in an eggshell

Article Abstract:

Cellbond Composites has developed Pressload, a system similar to the cross section of a slightly flattened egg carton. It can be created readily from a range of different materials, and offers high impact absorption properties. It has so far been designed with special aluminium alloys or thermoplastics. It can also be made by a range of different material-specific processes.
