The bossless performance review

Article Abstract:

A peer review survey conducted by a clerical organization in Baltimore, MD, to evaluate the performance of Catholic parish ministers gathered accurate data and helped in improving services to the congregations. Data was gathered anonymously from the congregation, church support officials, and leaders of committees and groups in the parish. The survey was conducted by a trained peer who was respected by the ministers. The ministers took steps to improve their services based on strengths and weaknesses defined by the survey. Peer review process can be adapted to the requirements of other organizations.

The QWERTY Keyboard: A Review

Article Abstract:

The QWERTY keyboard has been the accepted standard keyboard for over 100 years. Research has shown that finger loads, hand position and finger movements on the QWERTY prove it to be a suboptimal layout. Numerous other keyboard layouts have been proposed over the years. Some have been tested and shown to be more efficient and easier on the user. Explanations are given as to why the QWERTY will probably remain the standard even though it may be suboptimal.
