The Major Projects Agreement (MPA) signed between the first utier suppliers to BAA and the BAA was the first ever agreement of its kind to encompass the entire building services sector. The MPA, along with the Supplementary Project Agreement provided opportunities for the diverse disciplines to work as an integrated team, with the Major Product Performance Payment (MPPP) approach ensuring performance and productivity standards. The MPA Forum is striving to popularize the MPA format for large projects as part of best practice.
