Why Potter came out top

Potter and Sons Ltd. of Swindon, Wiltshire, England has been chosen as MK Wholesaler of the Year for 1992. The company was chosen after recommendations from contractors and a visit by the judging panel. Potter has a good approach to customer service which is efficient and friendly. Computerised stock control, well trained staff and an attractive showroom also impressed the judges. Two other wholesalers were commended, Newey and Eyre of Oldham and Edmundson Electrical in Leeds.

ElectroTech 1996 saw overall attendance of around 25,000 and the 1998 event will be shorter, as visitors are usually concentrated into the middle three days. BRK launched a new guarantees and customer support for its detectors range and Bussmann introduced its System 600 circuit protection range. Chloride Bardic introduced the Zircon fire detection system. Other exhibitors included D&F Lighting, Hager, Mita, MK Electric, Siemens, Tenby, and Metrotest.
