The United Nations Convention on Climate Change calls for a comprehensive look into the causes of global warming and how it can be prevented. A research plan must be established to study the problem before any solutions can be addressed.

Night-time imagery as a tool for global mapping of socioeconomic parameters and greenhouse gas emissions

Article Abstract:

A discussion is presented of the night-time satellite images used to create global maps of economic and energy centers. Such a mapping could be useful in determing the extent and pattern of greenhouse gas emissions.

Global temperature forced by solar irradiation and greenhouse gases?
