Learning styles and corporate training

Article Abstract:

A study intended to help improve corporate training found that occupational groups vary both in the learning styles and levels of productivity they prefer. However, the study failed to directly link these preferences with occupation. This study, prompted by the billions of dollars that companies devote every year to training, involved 140 employees from a Fortune 500 company who answered questions based on the Gregorc Style Delineator and the Productivity Environmental Preference Survey. The study suggested that training can be modified to improve learning.
