Knowledge transfer between researchers and practitioners in SUCOZOMA
Article Abstract:
The main aim of the SUCOZOMA research program is to transfer knowledge from the scientific community to the research users. However, the three major obstacles to effective knowledge transfer are lack of funding for period follows up, lack of organization and contacts with science among user group for transfer purposes, the agenda and priorities of the user group.

The SUCOZAMA program: Results and challenges
Article Abstract:
The Swedish coastal zone management started a Sustainable Coastal Zone Management (SUCOZOMA) in the year 1996 that was motivated by the increase in the global, regional, and national coastal problems. The two phases of the research, multidisciplinary perspective and transfer of result are explained.
