Article Abstract:

Multinational television broadcasting corporations have invaded the Latin American television markets with the help of deals made with the local media companies. Since the 1970s, Latin America has developed a wide and promising television network. The Galaxy Latin America and the 'gang of four' comprising local and multinational media companies have decided on a common venture of satellite and wireless television in Latin America. Corporate multinational investors are venturing into the highly lucrative television market of Brazil compelling the local broadcasters to seal joint ventures.

Professional basketball player Sprewell was asked to explain his terse comment to the press that "stuff happens" when they questioned him about the 1994 incident of his bit bull attacking his four-year-old daughter. He showed a picutre of his daughter, explaining that he loves his daughter dearly and that nothing had hurt him more in life. He was tired of the press.
