Balancing carbon management and renewable fuels production

Article Abstract:

Carbon emissions are having a huge negative impact on global warming, which is causing severe climate changes all over the world. Loss of glaciers in the mountains, decline in rainfall, large wildfires and rising sea levels are some of the effects of global warming and hence it is important to balance carbon management and renewable fuels production.

A study is conducted to examine how biomass energy technologies are performing in evolving US renewable energy markets and some of the key policy mechanisms that are shaping their new-term prospects. Analysis of how customers buy into biomass energy, how Renewable Energy Certificates works and examples of renewable power suppliers are described.
