Compact gravity belt thickener reduces sludge transport, handling costs

Article Abstract:

The G-25 Gravabelt, a fully-integrated, skid-mounted waste-water treatment device that is rated to be capable of thickening sludge to 5% to 8% solids at a rate of 120 gallons per minute, can generate savings of up to $1,000 per day. The device include an integrated drainage basin, belt wash booster pump, polymer mixing/pumping unit, injection ring, mixing valve and machine-mounted, pre-wired electrical control system. The G-25, introduced in the market several years ago, has been cited for its reliable and durable service both in the US and abroad.
