Compact, light-utility trencher

Article Abstract:

Charles Machine Works Inc of Perry, OK, introduces a light-utility trencher designed to meet a wide range of job site needs. Called, Ditch Witch HT25, the unit is suitable for replacing existing service lines, installing new service lines, small utilities, footing and landscaping projects such as water sprinkler systems. The light-duty trencher is mounted on rubber tracks with hydrostatic ground drive and independent track controls.

The unit provides smooth sanitary sweeps and facilitates the insertion of a sewer snake in either direction. It is equipped with square pipe stops for positive seating and locking rings to add protection at major shock points and prevent the gasket from fish mouthing during insertion.
