Creating value for public sector clients

Article Abstract:

The Fire and Rescue Service considers the nature of the organization's composition and recognizes its differences with the community's structure and values. That practice of the brigade is found important in building relationships not only with the public sector but also with organizations such as AssetCo Emergency Services. The principles of AssetCo in giving value to service are compared with that of the Service.

West Mids support for girls football team

The partnership of the soccer team and the fire service is part of a program to promote safety messages and encourage the girls to consider career in firefighting.

Outsourcing - friend or foe?

Article Abstract:

Misconceptions on the concept of outsourcing are examined through the two case studies that are explained. The need for outsourcing in the fire and rescue service to manage long-term capability management and transfer of asset and risk are discussed.
