Essential links in composting

Article Abstract:

There are many things to consider in composting to be able to operate smoothly and understand the process such as the relationships between producersand users, public and private sectors and operator and neighbor. The producers or composters must be able to resolve their two purposes which are waste management and production of compost. The users of compost, on the other hand, have to be wary of compost effectivity. The second consideration is the opinionthat compost facilities should be a collaborative endeavour between the public and private sectors. Thirdly, public relations with the facility site neighborhood must be carefully considered.

Demolition contractor becomes recyler

Article Abstract:

The high costs of landfill disposal systems prompted Wayne Gomez Demolition of Denver, CO to establish a recycling and composting facility in the fall of 1991. Construction Recycling Inc treats diverse materials as wood wastes and animal manure, transforming them into useful constituents for road beds, boiler fuel and sludge bulking agents. Improvements are, however, to be seen in quality control.
