The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) launched a program called GreenScapes, which promotes practices and products that meet the users' needs in landscaping but are more environmentally friendly. Further, GreenScapes assists companies, government agencies, and other entities to make more holistic decisions regarding waste generation and disposal.
