Metropolitan chiefs go on cash campaign offensive

Article Abstract:

Metropolitan fire chiefs oppose the changes in the national Fire and Rescue Service grant aid as the new funding threatens to take away as much as 30 million pounds sterling from the big seven metropolitan brigades in the UK. The county of West Yorkshire can lose up to 1.3 million pounds sterling if the changes in the local government grant formula are to push through.
