The Davenport Compost Facility has produced an effective combination of biosolids and yard trimmings that has proved to be successful in all aspects. The overall success of the facility is attributed to the contemporary and flexible technologies and quality employees.

Article Abstract:

The article examines the role of composting in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Because of composting, fewer wastes are incinerated or diverted to landfills, which lowers the levels of both carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere.
