An overview is presented on the Renewable Energy from Organics Recycling Conference, which was held Oct 29-31, 2001. Topics include global status of renewable energy resources, the importance of reducing America's dependency on petroleum, developments in anaerobic digestion, and European energy and environmental policies.

Renewables make progress on many fronts

Article Abstract:

Renewable energy sources and fuels are making progress on many fronts and increasing use of these recycled products will help in fighting against global warming. Progress in community digesters is expected to create new jobs, attract people to farm country and also to reduce emissions.
