Recycling skids into profits

Article Abstract:

Bill Hilderbrand of Pennsylvania discovered a new way to earn when he was 21. He bought used wooden pallets, repaired and resold them. His Pallet Express Inc caters to companies which make use of pallets and are unaware of methods are or unwilling to recycle them. In the process of repairing, cracked wood is replaced and sent to a composting facility. Cicero Wood Recovery is another outfit that turns wood into money by processing them into chips. The wood is then delivered to a town sludge composting facility in Syracuse, NY. The company is also looking into other viable marketing venues for wood chips.
