Miguel de Icaza, co-founder and chief technology officer of Ximian Corp., is one of the most influential Linux developers and outspoken advocates of free software in the world. Miguel's most dramatic contribution to the open source movement might be the project called (Mono), which is in its early stages and if successful, would make translating Microsoft Windows programs into Linux easier.
