Size and service matter: Large volume and exceptional service help wholesalers woo and win accounts

Article Abstract:

The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors reports that revenues of the US wholesale sector have grown at an annual rate of 4.8% since 1996, while total revenues of wholesale companies on the Hispanic Business 500 grew 11.4% in 2005, as productivity increased more than 34%. Attracting big accounts is a tough task and it is even harder to maintain an excellent level of service such as helping companies cut costs and boost productivity.
