The 500 top Hispanic-run companies in the United States for 1998 are listed. Vincam Group Inc., an employment services company based in Coral Gables, FL, is listed as the top Hispanic-run firm in the US for 1998. Burt Automotive Network, an automotive sales and services company based in Englewood, CO, is ranked as the second-leading Hispanic-run company in the US for 1998. MasTec Inc., a telecommunication infrastructure construction company in Miami, FL, is listed as the third-top Hispanic-run firm in the US for 1998. The chief executive officer, previous ranking in 1997, year founded, and revenues produced for 1997 of and by each firm is also given.

The list ranks the top 50 Hispanic high-technology businesses in the US based on 1997 revenues. Government Micro Resources Inc. of Manasses, VA, is the largest with 1997 revenues of $122 million; followed by McBride and Associates Inc. of Albuquerque, NM, with $89.05 million; then Gonzalez Design Group of Madison Heights, MI, with $80.80 million. The list also includes information on the company's CEO; high-tech products and services; as well as the number of employees.
