New ways to help kids learn

Article Abstract:

Some kindergarten and elementary schools have made very good advances on integrating technology into the classroom. Computers are used not just to duplicate traditional teaching methods, but to teach in new ways. Children learns new things with greater enjoyment. Programs at the following schools are described: New Albany Elementary School, New Albany, OH; Corrine Seeds University Elementary School, Los Angeles, CA; the Paideia School, Atlanta, GA; and Lemon Grove School District, Lemon Grove, CA.
