The Electra 16-48, by NEC, is characteristic of the functions offered by these systems. These functions consist of: standard single line telephone set, call forwarding, speed dial, automatic call back, trunk queueing, station message detail recording, and customer programming capability. These systems are designed to increase the productivity of clerical workers. The systems are compact, and easy to install and maintain.
