3 Pinot producers who excelled in 2005

New Zealand Pinot Noir has become very popular, with the finest wines coming from the Central Otago, Marlborough and Martinborough regions. Profiles of three vintners who produced excellent wines in 2005, namely Amisfield from Central Otago, Craggy Range from Martinborough, and Nobilo from Marlborough, are presented.

Concentration methods: Water out of wine

Article Abstract:

Grapes are laid in special drying rooms to make the Italian sweet wine Recioto, so as to develop a concentrated flavor. Concentration of the wine particularly depends on the grape variety, vintage conditions and production techniques.
