'80s showpiece for sale

One of Napa Valley's most unusual pieces of architecture is up for sale for $5 million. Thomas Lundstrom's Valla Zapu on Mount Veeder is being sold as part of a divorce settlement. The Swedish bread industry heir hopes to stay in the winemaking business.

Next dining stop: Grand Central Terminal

Article Abstract:

An ambitious plan to remake Grand Central railway terminal will include about 100 restaurants and other retail outlets. The $175 million project will cover about 170,000 square feet and establishments should be open to the public by the end of 1998.

Starting over in Australia

The McGuigan Brothers winery was started by the family after leaving Wyndham Estate winery, which they helped make very successful. The family has produced about 25,000 cases of non-vintage wine at their Hunter Valley vineyards and plans to expand.
