Bright Sauvignon Blanc: our annual blind tasting finds nine outstanding examples and dozens of good values from California

Article Abstract:

The 1994 and 1995 vintages of California Sauvignon Blanc are very good, with much of vegetal and grassy taste banished. Several California winemakers, including Ted Bennett of Navarro, are profiled, and wines are rated on a scale of one to 100, with tasting notes provided.
