Article Abstract:

A number of wine distributors and wholesales in several states have been effective in enacting laws that prevent consumers from having wine shipped directly to them. A Congressional subcommittee that heard a proposal to make such shipments even tougher did not appear inclined to intervene.

The top 100 table wine values are predominately wines made in the US, especially for top 50 white wines list. Values made by foreign wineries populate the top 50 red wines list. Few of the wines selected cost more than $10 per bottle.
