Dawn of new Texas wine

Article Abstract:

Texas was never known as a first rate wine producing state until now. Half of the state still prohibits alcoholic beverages entirely. Several vintners are profiled, and the operations of wineries such as Fall creek Vineyards and Llano Estacado are described.

The style of the Californian cuisine is discussed, with focus on the changes it started to undergo in the nineteen seventies. Old and new style restaurants, and European and regional influences in the ways chefs mix their ingredients are discussed.
