JAPAN: ICE MILK MADE WITH PURPLE SWEET POTATO

Nissei has introduced Purple Sweet Potato Soft Serve Ice Milk which contains antioxidant polyphenols. This pale violet ice milk contains 10% sweet potato extract, 5% non-fat milk solids, 3.5% milk fat content, and 2.0% vegetable fat content. It contains antioxidant polyphenols. The purple sweet potatoes used to make the extract are grown in Japan. It comes in 1-litre packs.

Futaba Food has introduced Futaba Azuki Parfait, an ice milk product which contains azuki bean paste swirled together with vanilla ice milk, with a decorative flower patterned chestnut paste topping, and topped with azuki beans. Ohayo Nuygyo has introduced a parfait dessert which contains 7.5% milk solids, 0.1% chestnut vegetable fat, and 9% milk fat, priced at [yen] 180 for a 115 ml cup. This dessert consists of premium vanilla ice cream, with chestnut sauce, topped with custard parfait mousse.
