David Lett moved from California to Oregon in 1965 where he planted Pinot Noir and 40 years later, Pinot Noir is the flagship grape of Oregon that has established a global reputation for the wines made from it. Oregon's success lies in the cooperative spirit that they have established and the distinctive character of their wines.
