Proposed New York law would legalize direct shipments

Article Abstract:

A new bill sponsored by New York Sen John Kuhl and Assemblyman Herman Ferrell would allow direct shipment of wine from US wineries and retailers to NY residents, as long as their states reciprocate. This would allow small wineries that are not part of the traditional distribution system to stay in business and have direct access to customers.
