Seafood restaurant sees future linked to American Pinot Noir

Article Abstract:

Andrea Immer's restaurant at the New York's Rockefeller Center called The Sea Grill is serving nothing but Pinot Noir along with its usual seafood fare. Immer believes that red wines such as Pinot Noir deserve to go along with fish contrary to the traditional opinion that only white wines are suited to seafood.

Silicon Valley couple makes wine from backyard vineyards

Article Abstract:

Saratoga, CA, couple Brenda and Bill Murphy planted almost an acre of Chardonnay grapes in their back yard in 1987, and today the pair manage 35 acres in the area. Their 1994 Clos LaChance Chardonnay Santa Cruz Mountains at $19 was rated 92 on a Wine Spectator scale of one to 100.

Touring the Finger Lakes: New York's most established wine region is best appreciated in person

Visitors to the Finger Lakes region in northwestern New York can enjoy beautiful scenery, historical and cultural attractions, and 52 wineries. Some 90% of the wines in the region come from vinifera grapes.
