Sona: A relaxed restaurant with a serious menu now boasts a wine list to match

Sona, a restaurant in Los Angeles, offers exceptional food and a versatile wine list of excellent quality presented in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The wine list features 2200 selections with a stock of 21000 bottles, which include California Pinot Noir and vertical offerings which are eight vintages old or further, such as Penfolds Grange from Australia, La Landonne and La Turque from the Rhone.

Van Aken made great achievements as a Florida-based chef in 1980s and 90s when Chinese and Japanese dishes were famous in Los Angeles. Now Van Aken is expanding, he took on a partner, Carl Bruggemeier and opened a big, moderately priced cafe in Miami, and Norman's at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando.
