I Trulli and Savore, two Italian restaurants in New York, NY, offer traditional trattorie faire. I Trulli features dishes from the Apulian region while Savore features Tuscan Renaissance cuisine. Several Italian restaurants are focusing on the regional differences in Italian cookery.

New York's new circus

Article Abstract:

The opening day at Osteria del Circo is described. The restaurant is owned by the sons of the owner of the famed Le Cirque restaurant, the Maccioni family. On opening day, the staff encounters typical problems such as too many people, confusion, and inadequate staff.
