Rhone wines of the 1990 vintage are excellent, and each district is producing fine offerings. The best is a Paul Jaboulet Aine Hermitage La Chapelle priced at $62. Evaluations are divided by district, and tasting notes are provided. Comparisons with other years are included.

Domaine de la Romanee-Cinti and Ramonet wines are rated on a scale of one to 100, with tasting notes and prices provided. A 1992 Ramonet Montrachet at $550 is rated 94, and a 1991 Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Montrachet at $800 is rated 84.
