Zero common sense

Article Abstract:

Two Cherry Creek School District educators from a suburban Denver school were disciplined for permitting a group of seventh- and eight-graders to taste small amounts of wine with dinner on a chaperoned trip to France. The school's zero-tolerance policy is wrong.

Issues are presented concerning the effect of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 on the hospitality industry. A contribution of funds to aid the families of food service workers killed in the attack is discussed.
